Dear parents,
Once again we are getting ready for the City-Pier-City (CPC) Run. This is a famous half Marathon organised every year in The Hague where shorter distance races for amateurs and for children are organised so all can take part.

This year the race will take place on Sunday 14 March. Following the tradition of previous years we would like to encourage our students, with your help, to take part in the race. We will start training for the run during our PE classes.

For primary students:

Reception and Year 1 children can participate in the 1 km Ernst & Bobbie Kinderloop. They must be accompanied by an adult (over 18) who should be registered as well. Year 2 to Year 6 children can participate in the 2, 5 km Fortis Jeugdloop. Year 5 and Year 6 children, with agreement from parents and the P.E teacher, may participate in the West 5 km Loop. Parents are welcome to run along with the Y2-Y6 children, but they have to register for that and will probably receive a coach sticker instead of a number. Parents of children Y2 to Y6, not participating in the run, will need to be at the finish line ready to meet their child/children.

For secondary students:
Secondary students, parents and teachers can run the 5 km and 10 km race, according to their ability and training.

We encourage all the children to participate and join the teachers also enrolled for the CPC Run.!

The cost of entry is the same for children as for accompanying adult/parent. The fees for the races are as follows:

€ 2,50 for the Ernst & Bobbie Kinderloop 1km
€ 3,50 for the Fortis Jeugdloop 2,5 km
€ 6,50 for the West 5 km Loop
€ 8,50 for the AD Haagsche Courant 10 km Loop

You will receive a start number and a wrist band that will give you free access to public transport on your way to and back from the race.
Please complete the form linked here, one form per family, if you would like to participate with our school in this event. Send it to the office in an envelope with the correct amount of money enclosed by Monday 15h February.
Late registration will not be possible through the school! Once registered it will not be possible to cancel or be refunded!

Further details about the run (meeting point, time, etc), will be sent to registered families the week before the race.
