This concert on the 12 March could only give a snapshot of the rich musical scene Malcolm Davies had established in all the years he worked tirelessly for ISH. His approach was always to value all musical styles, and so the range of performances reached from Tabla to piano, from classical viola to Spanish guitar, from a-capella choir to rock-band. Former students returned to perform and re-vive the old orchestra for one evening, and Malcolm’s influence could be felt in every act. We were honored and moved by the attendance of Rachel and Llewelyn Davies.

The evening marked also the start of the Dr. Malcolm Davies Fund in support of young talented musicians at ISH. Nearly 800,- Euros were donated for musical instruction. Guidelines for scholarships will be published here soon.
