ISH HELPS HAITI

On the 12th of January 2010, everything shook. >> Read this eye-witness account, written by Sally, a Year 8 student.

These were the events which stirred Jutta Clarke, an ISH parent into starting and organising the ISHHelpsHaiti initiative.

Many thanks go to her and to all who participated in the concert organisation, especially the musicians Jos and Victor and Joining Voices....260 concert tickets were sold!

And of course all raffle donations >>View here all donated items, added to the excitement of the concert evening. shMAG and the Student Council donated 500 EUROS. Special thanks go to Anita Westin who dedicated time and attention to making a hand-made, embroidered quilt, which auctioned off for 300 EUROS!

The whole concert and raffle ticket evening raised a tremendous amount of more than 6400 EUROS..... More than as 7733g worth of coins are yet to be valued by the Maths Department, running a competition to attain the value, given the coin sort/weight details. >>View all photos on Christel van Meeuwen's website.
