Dear Parents,
This is a special edition about special students – those who displayed excellence in different fields, not only in class but in Sports or the Arts. We rewarded them publicly in a whole school assembly last week with a certificate and a medal. As you will see in the Spotlight section, we also included one of our favorite teachers for his many contributions – just watch the embedded video clip!
We think that modeling behavior is a very powerful tool. We believe that every student in the school is able to display excellence in a particular field. We know that we will continue to have the wonderful problem of choosing who will be honored in the next awards assembly!
Y13 are also special students. They are in their last year, now ready for their exams, and we sure that they will do well, as their predecessors did. Good luck to you, Y13s !
It is now an ISH tradition that the last day of Y13 is a challenge to their creativity – see inside this edition what the topic was this year.
Teachers need training too – we look at MYP together on the coming Thursday afternoon, as announced before. This means that for students, school closing earlier and for them the May holidays begin on 29 April at 14.05.
